Inclusion Teacher- UAE National

The Inclusion Teacher is responsible for supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have equal access to education. The role involves working collaboratively with classroom teachers, specialists, and parents to provide tailored learning strategies and foster an inclusive environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Individualized Support:

    • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEN).

    • Provide targeted support to students through differentiated instruction and accommodations.

  • Collaboration:

    • Work closely with teachers and staff to adapt classroom activities to meet the needs of all learners.

    • Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and specialists to monitor progress and provide feedback.

  • Assessment & Monitoring:

    • Conduct assessments to identify students’ learning needs and evaluate their progress.

    • Regularly review and adjust strategies to ensure effective support.

  • Advocacy & Training:

    • Advocate for inclusive practices within the school.

    • Provide professional development to staff on best practices for supporting students with special needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.

  • Teaching certification in inclusion or special education.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with special educational needs.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of inclusive education practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
