Drama Teacher

We are seeking a creative and passionate Elementary Drama Teacher to join our outstanding team of educators in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will inspire students to express themselves through drama This role involves teaching grades 3 to 7 and nurturing a love for performing arts.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons tailored to students in grades 3-7

• Foster creativity, self-confidence, and teamwork through interactive and dynamic drama activities.

• Encourage student participation in performances, plays, and other drama-related events.

• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

• Collaborate with colleagues to organize school-wide performances and events.

• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to express themselves.

• Maintain open communication with parents, updating them on their child’s progress and achievements.

• Actively participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field (Education degree preferred).

• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in drama or performing arts.

• Meet ADEK approval criteria for Grades 3- 7.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• A genuine passion for drama and inspiring young learners to express their creativity.
