Geography Teacher- Secondary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join our outstanding team of educators in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching the British Curriculum and a strong dedication to inspiring students to explore and understand the world around them.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that align with the British Curriculum standards.
Foster critical thinking, inquiry, and an appreciation for global and environmental issues.
Use innovative teaching strategies and tools to engage diverse learners effectively.
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote growth.
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and inspired.
Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student progress and development.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum, activities, and school events.
Participate in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Education, or a related field (Education degree preferred).
Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Geography in a secondary school.
Experience teaching the British Curriculum is preferred.
Strong classroom management and interpersonal communication skills.
A genuine passion for Geography and inspiring students to explore the world around them.
