IB DP Business Studies

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IB DP Business Studies Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills while preparing them for success in IB assessments and their future careers in the business world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach IB DP Business Management to students, following the IB curriculum and assessment standards.

• Design engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote inquiry-based learning and practical application of business concepts.

• Prepare students for internal assessments, final exams, and extended essays, ensuring a strong understanding of IB assessment criteria.

• Foster a collaborative and dynamic learning environment that encourages student participation, discussion, and critical thinking.

• Provide constructive feedback and support to students, tracking their academic progress and development.

• Collaborate with colleagues in the Business Studies department to enhance teaching strategies, resources, and curriculum development.

• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with IB practices and educational innovations.

• Actively contribute to the broader school community by participating in extracurricular activities, such as business clubs or student projects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field .

• Teaching certification or recognized qualification in Abu Dhabi.

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with IB DP Business Management or similar curriculum.

• Strong knowledge of the IB DP framework, assessment practices, and business concepts.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to motivate and engage students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds.

• Passionate about education and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
