Curriculum Coordinator- SLT
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, a passion for curriculum design, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Design, review, and revise the curriculum in collaboration with teachers and educational leaders to ensure it is engaging, relevant, and aligned with educational standards.
Assessment Coordination: Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning and curriculum effectiveness. Analyze assessment data to inform instructional practices and curriculum adjustments.
Professional Development: Provide training and support for teachers in implementing curriculum initiatives, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to foster a collaborative approach to curriculum development and implementation.
Resource Management: Identify and recommend instructional materials, resources, and technology that support curriculum objectives.
Compliance: Ensure that curriculum aligns with state and national educational standards, as well as any relevant district policies and guidelines.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
Communication: Effectively communicate curriculum changes and updates to staff, students, and parents, fostering a clear understanding of curricular goals and expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 8- 10 years of teaching experience.
Arabic Speaker preferred.
Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
Strong understanding of current educational trends, standards, and assessment practices.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in educational technology and software tools for curriculum management.
