IB Chemistry Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and experienced IB Science Teacher to join an outstanding school in Dubai.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching in the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and challenging lessons in line with the IB Science curriculum (MYP and DP).
Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and scientific inquiry.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
Foster a positive learning environment that supports students' social, emotional, and academic growth.
Engage students in lab work, experiments, and hands-on activities to deepen their understanding of scientific concepts.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and contribute to the school's holistic approach to education.
Participate in school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and ongoing professional development.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field)
Teaching certification/license is required.
Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in IB MYP/DP Science, preferably in an international school setting.
In-depth knowledge of the IB Science curriculum and its inquiry-based approach.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative attitude.
Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching.
