Head of MOE Subjects

The Head of MOE Subjects will oversee the implementation and enhancement of the Ministry of Education curriculum across all phases. This role is critical for ensuring high academic, personal, and social outcomes for students, fostering an environment of excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Leadership:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of MOE subjects, ensuring alignment with national standards.

  • Collaborate with educators to create and adapt curricular resources that engage students and promote high performance.

• Academic Oversight:

  • Monitor and evaluate student progress in MOE subjects, implementing strategies for improvement.

  • Establish assessment frameworks to measure student outcomes and ensure accountability.

• Professional Development:

  • Facilitate training and development programs for teachers to enhance their instructional strategies and curriculum delivery.

  • Mentor staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the department.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and community members to promote curriculum initiatives and gather feedback.

• Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the School Improvement Plan by setting clear goals for MOE subjects and aligning them with the organization’s objectives.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive learning experiences across the curriculum.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Arabic

Experience:

• 5 years of teaching experience. (Relevant Subject- Arabic A is required)

• 2 years experience in similar position on Senior Leadership Team.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of the MOE curriculum and assessment practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing teams.

• Ability to use data to inform decisions and drive improvements in student outcomes.
