Vice Principal - UAE National

The Vice Principal role requires a dedicated and resilient leader capable of leading and supporting the students, staff and stakeholders within a growing school community.

Our client, a leading education group in the UAE, is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in school start-up, reform, and demonstrated resilience in the face of challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Administration: Assist the Principal in the overall administration of the school. Develop and implement school policies, programs, and schedules.

• School Reform: Lead initiatives for new school start-ups, including planning, staffing, and operational logistics. Implement innovative reform strategies to enhance educational outcomes.

• Student and Staff Support: Provide support and guidance to students, teachers, and staff. Foster a positive school climate and culture that promotes student engagement and staff collaboration.

• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with academic staff to develop and enhance the school curriculum, ensuring it meets educational standards and addresses the needs of all students.

• Community Engagement: Engage with parents, guardians, and all stakeholders to build strong partnerships that support the school's mission and goals.

• Impact and Innovation: Drive initiatives that have a significant impact on the educational fabric of the school and community.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s of Education Degree or Equivalent

  Master’s degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field. (Preferred)

• Experience:

  Minimum of 5 - 8 years of teaching experience.

  Experience of working in a K-12 American curriculum school or international educational setting would be advantageous although not essential.

  Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership roles, with a strong background in school start-up and reform.

• Skills:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
